First sold in 1830, it became an iconic brand in France. It is made with a base of mistelle, fortified grape juice that preserves the sugars of the fruit. This is blended with aromatic plants, including quinquina and bitter orange peels, vanilla and cocoa. Serve neat, chilled or on the rocks, or in a cocktail.
