Pale gold, somewhat more golden than the three-star with green undertones. Vanilla and pepper aromas are deep and well-balanced. The palate is full-bodied, silky, and well-balanced.
The finish is long and rich, with roasted, cooked fruits (prunes) and citrus fruit compote aromas (orange marmalade). The five-star rum, or "Reserve Speciale," has been aged for eight years and is well-balanced.
