The nose is redolent with an overripe hogo character, fermenting pineapples and mangoes, sea spray, and animalistic musk. On the palate: Much the same, fruit and stank (but mostly fruit) with hints of the beach, sandy and sweaty. It’s all filtered through a heavy amount of alcohol — though it’s not unmanageable even at full proof. The finish is sharp and again quite focused, the tropical fruit notes lingering for ages.
