For centuries, vodka has been celebrated as the world's purest spirit and straight forward luxury. However, it has not always been the case - back in the 15th century the people of Russia were making alcohol from grains, often resulting in... not the best quality liquid. In the 1800s, the Russian Empire decided to export vodka to all of Europe, so they ordered to create a recipe for high quality, clean vodka. Moskovskaya was created in 1894 making it one of the oldest vodka brands in the world.
