The Martell VSOP Médaillon ("Very Superior Old Pale") features a gold medallion bearing an image of Louis XIV to honor the year 1715, which marked the end of the Sun King's rule and the establishment of the Martell family.

A silky, mellow cognac that has a complex aroma that is at once fresh, rounded, and woody.

Amber in gold.

Lime and licorice in the nose's bittersweet sweetness. Three fruits have crystallized: quince, raisin, and plum. Fresh oak wood tones amid the undergrowth of spring (fine grain and hazelnut).

Mouthfeel With overtones of crystallized fruit, it is mellow, soft, and complex. a broad, round body. Long finish.
