Maker's Mark 46 is the first new bourbon we've produced since opening our doors and the first offering from our wood-finishing series. We experimented tirelessly with the effects of wood-finishing to craft entirely new expressions of Maker's Mark that are true to the original. This required much trial and error – but expertise, passion and persistence paid off in the end. We enjoyed the Maker's Mark 46 wood-finishing experience so much, we decided to expand the concept with Maker's Mark® Private Selection.

The result of the taste vision pursued by Bill Samuels, Jr., the 46 process adds new dimensions of boldness and layers of flavor. Maker's Mark 46 is bottled at 94 proof, which helps deliver bigger vanilla and caramel notes.
