Laphroaig 10

Laphroaig 10 is among the least smoky and peaty of the Islay scotches, which are my favorites. It is sweet, floral, and very peppery. The oak is subtle. The Laphroaig Triple Wood is much better in my opinion, but pricier. Either is a good choice if one wants to step back from the powerful smoke and peat of Ardbeghs. Having several on hand allows drams to be compared, which is a pleasure.
