Lagavulin 16 Year

Lagavulin 16 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Aged in oak cask for at least 16 years, this much sought-after single malt has the massive peat-smoke that’s typical of southern Islay – but also offering a dryness that turns it into a truly interesting dram.

This whisky was named the “Best Single Malt Whisky” at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2013. Situated on the banks of Lagavulin Bay on the island of Islay, Lagavulin Distillery is one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland.

Lagavulin’s mighty flavours are delicious when combined with Gorgonzola, Roquefort or Stilton – or any other aged blue cheese.

Lagavulin 16 Year Old demands to be served in a traditional whisky glass, neat or with a little water.
