Master tequilera Melly Barajas rests her distilled silver 100% Weber agave in lightly charred, re-used American whisky barrels for eight months to develop a lightly sweet, herbacious, crisp tequila best served neat.
Every step of production takes place under one roof and is done from start to finish by a small group of women. The leftover agave is given to local farmers to use as cattle feed and the bottles are handblown from recycled Mexican glass.
