The nosing passes detect subtle earthy notes of flowers, spring garden, and spring forest. The palate entry is oily, nicely viscous, and grainy; the midpalate stage shows more weight in the texture and an unabashed sweetness attributable to the grain mash. The aftertaste is sweet if a bit metallic, in the late phase.
