"Homegrown" Boone's Bourbon is inspired by American Singer/Songwriter Tyler Boone. Aged to perfection in American Charred White Oak Barrels.

This homegrown Boone’s Bourbon is distilled from a mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% barley at Striped Pig Distillery in Charleston.

 

Pleasant sweet aromas of caramel-corn, baking spice, a bit of pepper, and vanilla. The palate is sweet with caramel butter, cinnamon, a hint of smoke, and subtle crisp apples. The finish has a burst of baking spice.

Appearance / Color : Coppery Amber

Nose / Aroma / Smell : The aroma a pleasantly sweet with caramel-corn, cloves, a bit of pepper, and vanilla.

Flavor / Taste / Palate : Caramel is the opening act on the palate with warm butter, cinnamon, smokiness, and a dash of apple.

Finish : The finish has a burst of cinnamon and rancio.

Damn Solid Bourbon

One of the better tasting Bourbons you'll find, on the market today, for under $250.00 for sure. Grabbed a signed bottle that I picked up at a Charleston liquor store a few months ago. Very smooth Bourbon, especially given the 117 proof. Most liquors over 100 proof tend to have a fumy bite to them. Not Boone's. I do not drink alcohol, but taste or sip that which I buy for the spouse and/or friends. Solid product.

Outstanding

This is a superior barrel strength bourbon. It has won numerous awards including 2 double golds in New York, double gold in San Francisco and Platinum Best in Show in Los Angeles! It is priced very competitively, as well.
