The Eaux-de-vie that make up the mix have been aging in 250 handmade, specially commissioned 250 liter Limousin oak barrels, created by renowned Cellar Master Yann Fillioux. The Eaux-de-vie had already been matured for at least a decade under 'ideal circumstances' before being placed in these.
Nose: Rich and expressive on the nose, developing complex aromatic tones ranging from vegetal to spicy: bitter orange and freshly grated nutmeg, liquorice, dried peppermint leaf and delicate spices, in particular saffron.
