There’s an “Abocado con Gusano” mezcal enriched with the agave worm for a silkier texture, and a worm-less “Joven” expression with smokier tasting notes.
“I’ve tasted a number of mezcals, but until Recuerdo Mezcal I hadn’t found one I was willing to put my name behind,” Masvidal said in a statement announcing the partnership. Recuerdo is distilled with traditional production techniques using sustainably harvested Oaxacan agave, according to the brand.
