Benriach Malting Season Third Edition Scotch Whisky 700ml

BenRiach ‘Malting Season’ Third Edition is a celebration of our floor maltings, which have been at the heart of the Benriach distillery for over 120 years. John Duff, the founder of the distillery, built the maltings and they have remained in production ever since. This release is a tribute to our founder and the slow craft of his historic maltings. The malt produced during our malting season results in a rounded and creamy single malt of exceptional richness and character.

Tasting Notes:

Nose
Rich and creamy with notes of honey, vanilla, and toffee. Aromas of toasted oak and spice develop over time.

Palate
Full-bodied and well-rounded, with flavors of honey, vanilla, and caramel. Hints of cinnamon and nutmeg add complexity.

Finish
Long and warming, with notes of honey, toasted oak, and spice.
